Wednesday night was marked as one of three formal dress dinner evenings. I'd sadly missed the first one due to my incompetent packing.
The formal dinners are fun because the waiters are in their smartest uniforms as well. Here's Sanit, our waiter with Christine and Barbara:
And this is the four of us (Jim, Christine, Charlie & Barbara):

And to make it a really special evening for Christine, Jim bought a bottle of bubbly, and not just any old bubbly:
And of course, no self respecting blog would be complete without a picture of some of the food, so here's a typical sweet from that evening:
Note also the Fred Olsen logo on the plate (or is it specific to Black Watch?), taken from the 'figurehead' over the back deck.
